1

Bring your own PDF

Start with an existing letter, lease or agreement. Docjig finds candidate fields. More samples help reveal other values and wording choices.

What makes a good source PDF?
2

Review it in context

Review highlighted fields on your original PDF. Accept, reject or edit each change, then check the PDF preview. Images stay where they belong.

Your uploaded original stays untouched.

3

Make the next document

Approve a template version, enter new values and export a PDF. Your chosen wording stays fixed; templates and created documents stay separate.

Review every page before using the output.

4

Collect every signature

Add signature, initials and date fields. Assign them to each signer, send private email links and track who still needs to sign.

No account needed for recipients

One template.
Everyone’s signature.

Create a fresh agreement from your approved template, then send it to multiple signers. Place signature, initials and signing-date fields on the PDF and assign each person their own fields.

Each signer gets a private email link, reviews the document and signs in their browser. They can type or draw their signature and sign in any order, without a Docjig account.

Full workflow guide & support
What is Docjig?

Docjig turns existing PDFs and Word documents into reusable templates, generates new copies with your values, and collects electronic signatures from one or multiple people. You review proposed fields and wording before approving a template version. Work in the website or through a connected AI assistant.

Is this the same as making a fillable PDF?

Docjig turns selected text into reusable fields while preserving the original PDF page. Enter a value once and it replaces every reviewed occurrence. The result is a new PDF with your values, ready to review.

Will the formatting stay exactly the same?

The original PDF supplies the page layout, fixed text and images. Reviewed text is replaced in place. New values must fit the available space; shorten them if the preview reports that they cannot fit. Check every page of the generated PDF before approving or using it.

Can I start with a signed PDF?

Yes, when it has selectable text. Review old signatures, signing dates and envelope marks in the new template, and choose what to keep or remove. Your original stays unchanged. Marks baked into a scan or image may need manual cleanup; do not assume they were removed.

Which files can I import?

Start with a PDF or Word document (.docx), up to 20 MiB. Word files convert to PDF; check fonts and page breaks in the preview. Image-only scans need text recognition (OCR) before import. You can export a Docjig wording copy to Word or Google Docs and return its DOCX for review.

Can multiple people sign the same document?

Yes. Add up to 20 signers, assign each person their signature, initials and signing-date fields, and send private email links. Recipients sign in any order without creating a Docjig account. Once everyone finishes, the completed PDF includes a signing receipt. See the e-signature guide.

Do I need a template to send something for signature?

No. Upload a PDF or Word document in Documents, choose Prepare for signing, add and assign signing fields, then review and finalize it before sending. For a recurring agreement, creating a reusable template makes the next copy easier.

How are signing links and completed copies protected?

Each recipient receives a private link over HTTPS and can fill only their assigned fields. Sending freezes the reviewed document version. A cryptographic seal protects the completed PDF; check it online or offline. Email-link access and the document seal do not independently verify a signer’s identity.

What does Docjig cost?

Free includes 3 saved templates and 3 new documents per UTC calendar month, with no credit card required. Personal is $9 USD per month plus applicable tax for 100 saved templates and 100 new documents each month. See Plan & usage in your workspace to subscribe or manage renewal. Existing documents remain available if you downgrade. Storage and field-inference limits apply to both plans. Read subscription and refund terms.

Are my templates public?

No. Saved documents and templates belong to your authenticated workspace. AI processing and connected clients receive the content needed for the features you use. Read our privacy notice for providers, retention and deletion details.
