Start with the document you already trust.
Docjig and Docusign overlap on reusable documents and electronic signing. Docjig focuses on turning your existing PDF or Word file into a reusable template with AI doing the preparation.
For a solo operator or small business sending recurring letters, forms or agreements, the work starts before the signature: deciding which names, dates and amounts should change. Tell Docjig what varies and what stays fixed. AI can handle substantially all that template preparation, then you review the proposed fields and exact PDF before finalizing.
This is a workflow focus, not a promise of perfect automation. Ambiguous fields, converted Word pagination and layout warnings still need review. Different facts stay separate even when their sample text matches: rent and deposit can both be 1500 without becoming one field.

Where the workflows overlap
Both products support templates, document fields, recipient signing and completed records. Docusign also offers AI features and an MCP server; AI is not exclusive to Docjig. Docusign plan features; Docusign MCP documentation.
| Your task | Docjig | Docusign |
|---|---|---|
| Reuse an existing source | PDF/DOCX intake, AI-proposed reusable fields, fixed-wording review and exact-version finalization. | Reusable templates and document preparation tools; available AI depends on the product. |
| Make the next copy | Fill a finalized template with new typed values. The document pins its source version. | Generate agreements from reusable templates. |
| Collect signatures | One document per request, up to 20 signers in any order, private email links, status and completed PDF/JSON record. | Envelopes can include multiple documents and signers. |
| Complex operations | Ordered routing, bulk sending and enterprise team governance are outside the current scope. | Broader routing, bulk sending, team administration and agreement intelligence, depending on plan. |
For one-off signing in Docjig, upload the document directly, prepare signature fields and review it. You do not need reusable-template inference. For either path, finalization and sending are separate actions; recipients personally review and sign. See the current signing capabilities and limits.
Compare the unit as well as the price
Docjig Free includes 3 saved templates and 3 new documents per UTC calendar month. Personal is $9 USD/month plus applicable tax, with 100 saved templates and 100 new documents per UTC calendar month. Saved templates are a stock allowance; new documents are creation units. Storage and inference limits apply. See Docjig pricing.
Docusign's US page, checked October 25, 2026, displays Personal at $11/month, Standard at $30/user/month and Business Pro at $45/user/month for an annual commitment billed monthly. Personal includes 5 envelopes/month; Standard and Pro annual plans include 100 envelopes/user/year. Other billing options, taxes and offers may differ. Check current Docusign terms.
A Docusign envelope can contain multiple documents and signers and counts when sent. Docjig's 100 new documents are not 100 Docusign envelopes or a promise of 100 signing sends. A separate Docjig signing-send allowance is not established by these creation quotas. Check the current account limits for your intended workflow.
Choose for your actual workflow
Choose Docjig when the recurring job is “reuse my wording, prepare the variables for me, let me review, then make the next document and collect signatures.” Your AI can return to saved work, prepare fields, fill templates and retrieve completed artifacts when the connected host exposes those tools. Host catalogs and file-delivery support can vary.
Evaluate Docusign when ordered or bulk workflows, organization controls or contract intelligence are central requirements. We do not claim equal security, compliance or legal suitability. Docjig's self-signed service seal checks document integrity; it does not independently establish signer identity or a trusted signing timestamp.
